Champions League: Chelsea vs KRC Genk

As you already know, the Blues at it again last night. A brace from Fernando Torres, a header by Branislav Ivanovic, a late goal by Salomon Kalou and the 25 yards screamer from Raul Meireles opened the floodgate for the Blues.

Meireles kickstarted the floodgate at the 8th minute of the game and oh boy the way he shot the ball totally got the Genk keeper clueless. The ball went close near the goalpost and luckily it found its way at the back of the net.

Nando then followed Meireles footstep by scoring a goal at the 11th minute of the game and it really shows that el Nino finally picked up where he left off since he left Merseyside last January. He did scored a brace and i was hoping that he could get himself a hattrick last night. But, 2 goals from him is enough for a start.

Hehe..the picture above should tell you guys how happy he was when he head the ball and gave Chelsea the 4th goal of the match. With his towering height and strong physical, he's really a threat on air especially in the penalty box

As if he wanted to make up to the goal he 'gave' to Valencia last fortnight, Kalou, which came in as the last substitute finally end the game with a high note for the Blues. Though his goal looked easy (initially triggered by Torres and blocked by Genk's keeper) which is a point blank range in front of the mouth of the goal, he really took the opportunity and made sure the Blues ended the match and a guaranteed 3 points.

As for Genk's Chelsea target, Kevin De Bruyne, he did showed why Chelsea should get him. With a superb pass right from the middle of the park to the frontman, his performance did overshadowed by the Blues flawless performance.

Only 20 years old this year, this young boy did showed his own class and hopefully, if, Chelsea get him, he will flourished with the other young talents the team has bought recently, namely Lukaku, Courtois, Romeu, Piazon and Feruz Islam. Truthfully, as a fan i prefer Chelsea to get the young talents straight from the academy. Just as Barcelona did. It'll shows how superior the team is if most of the young players being sought after from the Bridge. Im crossing my fingers on it. Hopefully AVB will fulfill my wish and set a benchmark to other European elite teams

A Pic A Day October 20, 2011

Hi guys..been a while now..i know..i keep on skipping my A-P-A-D project..Indirectly, it means  i got something else stucked in my way that i got to halt the project. Well today, here's a slice of the pic for the project.

The picture was taken when i was still working in Smk Suai, Miri. The thing is actually a tower for GPS, erected by some government agency. Looks like a silo, right?..hehe..I was using my Diana Mini, loaded with Lomography Redscale 100 the time i took the picture. One of my friend said to me that it's nothing special about the picture. For me, it's really pleasing. It's something i couldn't describe with words. =)

A Pic A Day October 13, 2011

Okay..here's a photo for today A-P-A-D project. It was high noon and i was at Telaga Air for some sightseeing. Something happened which attracted lots of people escpeially the locals. i think it was the launch of the new Telaga Air Waterfront. If you do not know where is Telaga Air, easy. Just google it..hehe

Ok,,the photo was taken when i was walking down the waterfront. i was holding my Diana Mini and i think i loaded Kodak EBX in it. I saw this scenery where the father of a kid was fishing by the waterfront. It was the right moment and the right time since the father was unaware of my existence and i straightaway shot the scene. The fact that it was such a scorching mid-day weather made it interesting since i intended to cross-processed the film, which led to the colour of the picture. Vivid and bright =)

A pic A Day October 12, 2011

Hey guys..the picture you see above is the picture i  took during last Raya 2011. I was with Reza at that time and went visiting to Hafeez's house for his open house during raya. We were just arrived and straightaway being asked to have our dinner. There was a lot of foods to choose from but since i just came from my uncle's open house, i didnt managed to finish all the foods. What a temptation..

okay..some explanation. I took the picture above using my Diana Mini, combined with Colorsplash flash. You just don't know what kind of surprise the double exposure and the flash have for you once you developed the film. As you can see, as if there were two faces of my friend there. By the way, she's one of my lomo friend, Sherrie Pui. Once i got the picture developed, i jsut couldn't stop imagining that as if there's a 'hungry ghost' haunting the food on the dinner table, lurking to feast on the foods..ahaha..Sorry Sherrie, just saying. Period. The rest, you just let your imagination runs wild. =)

pillowface

hi all..it's been a while since i last blog about my daily routine. with all the works keep breathing down my neck i dont think im able to do the a-pic-a-day thingy on a daily basis. But, for today, still in my lame as ever mode, i dont feel like writing anything even though there are interesting topics to talk about. I just dont have the mood to blog now

So, to keep up with my a-pic-a-day project, here's my pic for today

here you can see a picture of me with my lomo mates, hafeez on my left and hanis ( hope i get ur name right dude) on my right. The picture was taken by another good friend of mine, Ahmad Fadhan. he's also one of the good people of lomography art. When it comes to lomo/analogue art, he  never fails to share his knowledge to others. The picture above was taken using his lc-a+ (think so) during our TYT's birthday at Padang Merdeka.

Australia vs Malaysia Friendly Game 2011

Mana-mana kaki bola especially yang tempatan gerenti tak sabar nak tengok friendly game Australia vs Malaysia Jumaat ni (October 7, 2011). Macam yang korang baca kat newspaper, Safee Sali is up to the challenge and is fit for the game. Good news for us Malaysian. For sure, pengalaman dia kat Cardiff City FC akan digunakan to the max untuk game tu nanti. Hope he'll be firing all cylinders in that game.

Tapi bolasepak ni bukan individual punya game. It is a collective effort right from the back, middle and and the front part of the team. Kalau nak harapkan Safee saja nak score memang la mustahil, unless dia boleh dribble dari tengah padang sampai ke penalty box. Kalau dia dapat buat macam tu setiap game, Pep Guardiola pun nak sign dia ambik jadi  player Barca.

As a Malaysian, i do support my country's football team. Realistically speaking, kalau nak compare team Malaysia dengan Australia memang la tak seimbang. Player Australia ada yang main dalam BPL macam Tim Cahill (Everton), Mark Schwazer (Fulham), Vince Grella (Blackburn Rovers) Chris Herd (Aston Villa) and not forgetting Harry Kewell yang pernah main for Galatasaray, kelab Turki. Apek sendiri cakap kalau nak ikut saiz fizikal memang tak boleh nak compare la but he will do a lot of communication to his fellow defenders in order to block any attack from the Socceroos.

*pic taken from http://hdwallpapergraphics.blogspot.com

Again as i stated above, bolasepak ni game yang berteraskan  team effort. No one is special on the pitch and every player should know what their task is and how to reach their own goal. Walaupun nanti keputusan tak memihak kepada Malaysia tapi kalau performance player Malaysia memang memuaskan hati, it's a win-win situation for the team. Plus, game tu nanti bukannya game qualification ke apa. Just friendly game. We got nothing to lose. Hope game tu nanti akan nampak ada perubahan positif since Coach Rajagopal dah masukkan beberapa player baru antaranya Joseph Kallang Tie.

Tengah syok-syok bukak Goal.com, terjumpa satu report pasal game ni. Link dia ada kat sini . Basically report tu dah keluar in our local news by Utusan Malaysia. So, kalau nak baca, click je link tu. Bukan selalu Goal.com keluarkan report pasal Malaysian football.

All in all, i just want to wish the boys good luck for the game. Win it for the country and the fans here in Malaysia. I'm pretty sure, if we can beat the Socceroos on their own ground ( which is wishful thinking maybe), the story is going to sell like hot cakes.

 *pic taken from :http://ann-droid.blogspot.com

So, to end the note, to all of you Ultras Malaysia, don't forget to show your support to our team during the game. Bring your friends to mamak stall or even your own house and scream from the top of your lungs if our boys do scores. Whether you're a Sarawakian, Kelantanese, Johorian, Sabahan, or even somewhere around the globe, wear your Malaysia football jersey and instil the spirit of "Tanah Tumpahnya Darahku". Godspeed

A Pic A Day October 6, 2011

The guy you see up there is me. Taken when i was in Miri during Borneo Analog Junkies lomomatrix, somewhere in December 2008 i guess (do correct me if i'm wrong dear BAJ). That moment was kind of special for me as that wasd my first time involved in a lomomatrix and i didn't really know any of the guys in BAJ at that time except for Ras friend of mine whom i started to know when i ordered my first Holga from. He's a cool dude, a nice bloke with a very warm heart. His signature is his glasses and his goatee i guess..ahaha

As you can see above, i was with my Diana Mini. the first ever lomo/toy camera that i owned. The clone trooper helmet is owned by Ras i guess. There were two of them i can't remember who owned the other one. Thinking of getting Boba Fett helmet one of these days =). The lomomatrix was well spent that day. Everybody was help each other even though i barely know any of them at that time. Of course now i know most of them since most of us active in the art of lomography.

Steve Jobs Died

I guess all of you people out there who the man is. He's the person who was responsible in bringing Apple merchandise into this world and managed to uplift Apple as one of the most elite company in the worlds that markets consumer electronic products. who doesn't know Apple Inc? A compapny famously known for its bitten apple logo. Who doesn't want to endorse and use MacBook, MacBook Air, Ipad 2, Iphone 4, Ipod and whatever gadgets that they have created to accommodate all the Apple evangelist needs.

Aku jarang sebenarnya nak tengok website Apple Inc. Cuma hari ni lain sikit coz Steve Jobs, Apple Inc. punya boss besar dah meninggal. As one of admirer of his courage and determination, aku rasa maklumkan hal ni jer. Mana tau ada jugak yang tak sempat baca or tak tau pasal ni, at least tau la jugak sikit-sikit. Hari ni baru aku tau before this, diorang punya logo ada special sikit. Sebelum diorang pakai logo epal yang kena gigit tu, actually diorang ada pakai logo lain.

So, tu la logo diorang yang original. Gambar Isaac Newton tgh lepak baca buku kat pokok epal. Kalau tengok betol-betul korang akan nampak sebijik epal kat atas kepala dia. In history, pada saat biji epal tu jatuh atas kepala diala baru dia tahu akan konsep graviti. Maybe there's a deeper explanation for why they chose the scene to be their first logo. It's very symbolic to me if you ask. As if it's like the picture is telling us there's a story behind it.

So, today all the Apple aficionados will mourn the death of Steve Jobs. My condolence to his family and friends. I know he meant a lot to them, moreover to his fans. I'm sure his death will be something significant in the history of human existence. R.I.P. Steve Jobs

Snoop Dogg pakai jersey Malaysia

Well, well, well...hehe..Here you can see Snoop D-O double G wearing Cardiff City football jersey. Apa yang menarik perhatian aku, tu yang tercatat kat tgh baju tu..nama Malaysia kan? Aku tak tau la dia pakai baju tu saja-saja nak promo tour dia or dia memang minat bola. First time tengok bangga la jugak dia pakai baju tu. Tp pikir punya pikir maybe  pakai sebab tour punya reason. Ntah Malaysia dia tau ke tidak.

Apa-apa pun, enjoy the video while it last. Bila lagi kita tgk westerner pakai baju ada tulis nama Malaysia kan?

Tahap stres pelajar kita tinggi

Morning peeps. Here's a story to kickstart the day. Stress level among students is high. High enough to create critical condition to oneself. That's what the paper say. Link is here .Well, talking about stress, it is better for me to define what is stress according to several psychologist out there. According to Wikipedia, the term "stress" was first employed in a biological context by the endocrinologist Hans Selye in the 1930s. He later broadened and popularized the concept to include inadequate psychological response to any demand. In his usage, stress refers to a condition and stressor to the stimulus causing it. It covers wide range of phenomena, from mild irritation to drastic dysfunction that may cause severe health breeakdown.

There you go, quite an explanation isn't it? I am fascinated by how Selye able to defined stress and split it into two kind of stress; negative stress which he called "distress" and positive stress he called "eustress". Guess i should read more on the latter since it sounds interesting.

Ok, back to the original topic. Apa sebenarnya masalah budak-budak ni sampai stress sangat in such an early stage of life? Baru masuk Form 1 dah stress. Baru ambik PMR dah stress. Actually what is stress to them? That is a question to ponder. Adakah dengan diberikan kerja rumah banyak oleh cikgu-cikgu dikatakan stress? Memang la tekanan kalau banyak homework but come to think of it since i myself a teacher, i do consider to give my students homework.

Moreover, i am a class teacher and it is my job to know how my students are doing. Ada jugak tanya banyak tak kerja rumah? Hari ni brapa subjek ada kerja rumah? If it's to much for them, i try to negotiate. I'll be giving them homework once in a fortnight but equal to one week workload. Being a student, you cannot avoid yourself from doing homework. It has began since ages ago and you have no say at all to be exempted to do homework. It's part and parcel of being a student.

So, what is pressure to them? Pressure of taking exam? Pressure of having to many homework? Pressure of not achieving good grades? Pressure from teachers and bullies? Pressure in having relationship? Only students know about it. Once being a student and still am, there are few ways to deal with pressure. It depends on how one confront his/her pressure. If he/she stays positive, for sure they can handle the pressure and find ways to overcome it. But for those who unable to handle the pressure, the outcome could be disastrous. Apa yang boleh aku cakap, nak handle pressure, korang tak boleh sorang-sorang. Kena ada member or kalo korang rapat ngan family member, go talk to them. Talking process could be very refreshing if it is done correctly. Go talk with your closest friend, go out somewhere where you feel at ease dan paling penting you got to pull yourself up and learn that tough situation do not last forever, but tough people will do. Chin up, chest up, head up. There're more life could offer to you if you keep being positive.

Lelaki kahwin lewat anak kurang bijak

Yes..you read that right. It is not a title with the intention to attract you all to finally read  it but it is mentioned today on Berita Harian Online. Personally, benda ni bersifat subjective dan kalau nak cakap pasal jodoh, masing-masing ada alasan. Maybe some were lucky enough to wed in their mid 20s which according to the report is good tapi it's all boil down to individual to decide.

Kalau nak kawen, aku pun nak kawen awal. It is just just when it comes to marriage, you have to consider a lot of things, macam wang hantaran, persiapan untuk katering, nak settle booking untuk pelamin, bayar kad  nikah, nak beli kain buat baju, dan tu belom lagi masok hal-hal kecik macam door gifts to guests.

All in all, personally i think it depends on the person itself. As for me, i'd fancy the idea of marriage in mid 20s. That was my target before but after much consideration (mainly about money), ive decided i need time to think hard and make wise decision because when you marry a person, you are going to spend the rest of your time with your other half and have kids.

So, my suggestion is, if the research did have some validity in it, you guys better choose your partner early and do plan when you want to settle down and have kids. Time waits for no man. Get the link here

i have a dream...

Guess my original plan to jog on the track remains a dream. The weather looked dreadful as it was windy, which made my afternoon nap even better. Just got up and need a shower. Then, do the usual routine for the night; making lesson plan for tomorrow, checking my facebook account, tumblring and lastly my night rest. I'm off to the shower room now.

What the hell is Lomography?

Have you ever heard of Lomography before? If you haven't, then this is the right time to know about it as it has been  starting since 2 decades ago. Above, you can see me and my friend, Wandy Saeit, whose love for everything analogue is insane. Here in Kuching, i can assure you that he is one of the forerunner on the Lomography movement.

There's a lot to say about lomography, mainly if you are interested in preserving the quality of films (which most of them are forgotten by noobs DSLR user) and appreciating the art that analogue cameras can produce. As for me, im still a beginner and still getting used with toy cameras like Diana Mini and FishEye.

So, if you are interested in knowing what is Lomography, just browse their website, www.lomography.com and you'll be amazed just how on earth they produce such inspiring photos only by using films and analogue cameras. Strictly no computer-enhanced and no photoshop.

Well, got to stop here. need some afternoon nap. Then 5 lapse of track-running and do my lesson plan for tomorrow. Maybe blogging in between..hehe..IF i am inspired enough to blog.. See ya

A new Beginning: Chapter 4

Yup.,the title may sounds familiar and yes it is true that i coined the title from Star Wars episode 4.  I guess it is obvious to you guys that i am an avid Star Wars fan but not to the extent that i am willing to change my name on my ID to become Luke Skywalker

where should i start? To tell the truth, this is my 4th attempt to try to create myself a bog where i can finally have my own say on certain things that happen around me...hmm..probably mainly about football ( Chelsea will be my main topic), analogue cameras because im a proud owner of toy camera and soon an analogue camera, or maybe about volleyball which is my second favourite sports.

To prove how keen and committed i am in the analogue industry, i'll be uploading a picture each day from my album. I keep quite a lot of them, maybe not as a lot as the other seniors before me, but at least it can be used as dipstick to measure my love for lomography or anything analogue. Oh..another thing..i am too a gamer. Will soon buy myself a PS3 and PES 12 will be my priority.

RockOn&BurnShit!

okay, im starting a new blog..Then what?

This is actually the third try of my attempt to create a blog for me and myself only. Before, i've made two blogs and god knows what happen to the blogs now. Maybe buried somewhere in the vast internet cemetery.

Hopefully i'll be more disciplined with this one and keep continuing giving trashtalk to whoever interested in knowing what happen to me in a day.

i'm not very sure what will be the end of this blog. it could join two of its "friends" who have been swallowed somewhere in the Interent..or..with the capital OR..will triumph regardless of how many commitments that ive faced in my life.

Ok then, i'll stop here for now. Will blog again once i feel inspired to write or excited about something. Wanting to go back home at have my afternoon catnap but still stuck will few things with work.
